Question by Brent: Ex-Girlfriend got extremely drunk before a party I was at?
She told her best girlfriend that she got super drunk that night because she was “afraid to see me.” We broke up early on during our freshman year of college and haven’t really seen each other until this party…I was looking forward to saying hello and that things didn’t need to be awkward, but when she showed up, she was absurd and ended up vomiting all night. Well, as I woman, I could come up with a few potential reasons for her getting drunk before having to see you.

1. If you two had a bad relationship in the past, she may want to get drunk because it’ll make her mood better if/when she saw you at the party. I know that when I see certain ex-boyfriends, I tend to get upset or angered, so alcohol may stabilize her mood and let her still have fun at the party.

Question by Z and Glory’s Mama: How many people out of 100 who attend Alcoholics Anonymous on a daily basis stay sober?

Some of you think because people attend AA that they stay sober. Not so. It’s extremely difficult to not imbibe. Do some reading and see if you can find a number to accurately represent my intended answer. I was personally shocked to find out how low it is.
