Do You Believe in Spanking Your Kids?
Question by Akintunde A: Do you believe in spanking your kids?
If you do, explain why this is so. Were you spanked as a child? If you don’t explain why this is so. What type of punishment do you prefer to use.
Best answer:
Answer by Jamie Z
I believe in spanking because it forms a sence of respect and dominance for a parent. I don’t know how to put it, there is a fine line between being too lieniant and putting fear into a child, if you reach that fine line you are going to have a decent acting child. One should not lash out when they spank their child, but give them a spank in hopes of correcting what went wrong. When there is an extreme ammount of anger behind spanking then a parent should re-evaluate why they are spanking, because then it is more to please the parents anger than to punish the child.
