Signs of an Alcohol Problem: Should I Keep Taking My Medication or Stop?
Question by Dylan SUSPENDED: Should i keep taking my medication or stop?
I take risperidone and vistaril at the moment my problems are what i think are anxiety
ive been taking the risperidone for a couple months however about 3 weeks ago i smoked some really strong weed and ever since ive been having anxiety(or at least what i think i feel as if im stuggling to breathe yet im fine) i started having panic attacks since i smoked the weed and it faded off last week however it came back so i was given vistaril however the vistaril have gave me the following side effects
1.im VERY tired i only started yesterday but barely got any sleep and i went out today and almost passed out in public
2. dry mouth a common side effect however i still feel fatigued
3. blurred vision another side effect
4. i still have the apparent “breathing problems”
im wondering if this is too much for me to handle or should i just not take any medication or continue?

Signs of a Functioning Alcoholic: I Need Some Advice, Please?!?
Question by Jo-Z: I Need Some Advice, Please?!?
Okay, so I am going to try and make this very long story as short as possible.
*I used to really love and be close with my dad
*My dad has always been an alcoholic, which I’ve never been a huge fan of
*My dad and Mom used to have huge fights
*My dad used to physically and emotionally abuse my brother
*My brother moved out when he was 15 years old
*After my brother moved out, my dad then moved on to physically and emotionally abusing me, which he never really used to do(I was 10 years old when he began abusing me)
*I have told my Mom, but she doesn’t believe me
*My Mom and dad are not legally divorced, they’re not living together, but they still see each other, I’m living with my Mom
*My Mom will never divorce my dad and will never get over him, she’ll “always love” him
*Not too long after my Mom and I moved out, I wrote my dad a letter, explaining to him how I feel, but never got any type of response
*From my past, I’m scared to death of my dad
*I haven’t talked to my dad in about 9 1/2 months
I want and really need to talk to my dad. I need to tell him how I feel. I need closure. I don’t want my dad in my life. I do not like him at all. So, I want to call my dad and tell him how I feel. I need to tell him how I feel. I need this for closure. Please, I’m scared to death to talk to him, even if it is over the phone, all I need to hear is his voice and I’m terrified, so, I could really use some advice on this. Anything. Please? I would really appreciate it. Thank you guys. I’m 16 years old if that helps at all.
***Note- I won’t be talking to him face to face! It will be over the telephone.***
