Question by : I need a diagnosis please!?
I am a white male, 22 years old, I am about 120 pounds, height is 5-10, I get very little exercise. my heart rate is in normal range.
My symptoms are:
1) groin rash,
2) high blood pressure,
3) joint pain, on elbow and the bottom of my foot hurts when i walk on it sometimes.
4) 1 bloody nose(may not be relevant),
5)swollen lymph nodes on groin neck and on a rib, the swollen ones on my groin seem to have started a couple of months ago. and they hurt on and off.

the groin rash started about 6 months ago but recently it has seemed to spread to the opposite inner thigh.

I’m 19 and female.

I have some social anxiety. It’s minor in comparison to some (I can still leave my house comfortably) but it acts up at times (in crowded places, social situations, when I have to make an important phone call, etc). It’s becoming a big inconvenience.

I have signs of depression (lethargy, weight gain, emotional swings, concentration problems, suicidal thoughts, self harm). I sleep a lot. I also sit and do nothing a lot.

I’m in premed, I just finished my first year but I’m still taking spring courses. I’m in anatomy right now and we had a huge practical exam yesterday, I didn’t start studying until 24 hours before. I wasn’t procrastinating (“I’ll study after I finish watching TV/hanging out”) I just spend a lot of time sleeping and sitting. I have no motivation. I can’t afford not to be able to focus anymore. My GPA dropped so much from first to second semester that I could be kicked out of my program.

I have been nauseous for the past 4 days, almost feeling like i have a bad hangover. (headache nausea exhausted) I’m 2 days late on my period, my breasts are incredibly painful and swollen and almost translucent with veins showing. I had sex on dec.13th and was supposed to start dec. 25. I have taken pregnancy tests and they’ve all come back negative but i just dont feel like the regular “pms” feeling. Could it be that the test just aren’t picking up the hcg? I’m just anxious and NEED to know!

maybe ur hcg level still low, u can go for blood or urine test. good luck!

Question by Becca: Drinking beer everyday first 4 weeks of pregnancy?
If you drank beer everyday give or take a day in betweenup until 4 or 5 weeks after conception in your opinion do you think it would be positive that the baby would have fetal alcohol syndrome? And do they have tests for this during pregnancy? What month is the earliest you can test?

Also if you have brown discharge 1 day when you are supposed to have your period that week a sign of pregnancy?

This is for a friend who thinks shes pregnant so thanks in advance for any helpful answers

It would probably depend on how much beer is being consumed. A glass every night might not be a problem. Binge drinking until you pass out could definitely be a problem. Your friend needs to do a web search on fetal alcohol syndrome — a good medical site should be able to answer her questions.
