She has been battling with this long before we got together and I’m trying very hard to help. Recently, she started seeing a therapist. She was suggested to keep a food journal. This has only been making things worse. I can see in this journal that she is just getting worse by the day. I love this girl with my whole heart. I just want to help her. How can I?

whatever, just make sure she gets all the nutrients she needs, it dosent matter if shes skinny, just drown her in vitamins and what not

Question by BNM: Does this sound like Irritable Bowel Syndrome to you?
Almost every day I get a stomach ache and get crampy and get gas. Then I have to go to the restroom and then I feel better a few minutes after going. And I go like 5 times a day. Embarassing I know but I was wondering if this sounded like IBS.
And what can I do to help this? Dont tell me to go to a doctor. I want YOUR advice.

You may not want to hear about going to the doctor but that is the best way to go because they can prescibe medication that will help control it. If you’re deadset on not going to a doctor then tell a pharmacist what you’re feeling and ask them about an over the counter medication that will help. I don’t have a medical degree so I’m not going to tell you to try this or that because it can always aggrivate your condition. Ask a professional.

Facts from Refuge:
•One woman in four experiences domestic violence at some point in her life.
•Two women are killed each week by a current or former partner.
•Domestic violence accounts for almost a quarter of all violent crime.
•In 90% of domestic violence incidents in family households, children are in the same or next room.
