Alcoholism Disease: Does Drinking a “little” Vodka Every Night Make You an Alcoholic?

Question by HappyGirl: Does drinking a “little” vodka every night make you an alcoholic?
I have been hounding my husband lately about drinking almost every night. I get tired of the way he acts when hes under the influence. He is silly acting, and he gets on my nerves! I laugh at him because he IS funny and I drink socially when we are out together on weekends but I am afraid he is going to start showing undesirable behavior, and get a DUI or drink more often than only at night. He claims that “hes not hurting anthing, and has it under control, and only does it at night to loosen him up when he gets off work.” I dont know…I feel like I have no reason to judge him or worry, as long as its not negatively affecting him or our relationship. Is he an Alcoholic or does it sound like I worry too much?
