Would “alcoholism” Be Considered an “Issue of Importance?” Essay Question..?
Question by Haley J: Would “alcoholism” be considered an “issue of importance?” Essay question..?
I’m supposed to write about this topic for my college essay:
Choose an issue of importance to you—the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope—and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.
My dad has been an alcoholic my whole life (which has impacted me multiple ways) and i’d love to write about that. My only concern is that “alcoholism” isn’t considered an “issue” like abortion, or gay marriage would be.
Opinions are MUCH apprecieated.
