Question by Devil’s Nephew: Gave up drinking, now I am depressed, Why?
I did used to drink everyday but i was always happy, never depressed, now that i have given up, it seems like there isnt much left in life.

What is life, you work all your life, worry about money, worry about family, house. and then you go old, and get sick and you die. There’s got to be more to life than that, isn’t?
Now that i have given up, i feel down, I know starting drinking will postpone these questions, but i wont start again. HELP!, Why am I depressed and why dont i feel like doing anything.
I gave up around a month ago.22nd Sep

Question by not a boy: is there really a genetic predisposition for alcoholism?
so i’m starting to drink on a regular basis. nothing excesive at this point. anyway, my dad was a bit of an alcholic and one of my close friends is constantly warning me that i have a hire risk of becoming one myself if i start/keep drinking. is he right?

ABSOLUTLY!!!!!! Children of alcholics are 45% more likely to become one themselves. Sorry but its true…. stop while you can,
