Mental Illness- Obsession With “infinity”?

Question by wildchild47236: Mental illness- obsession with “infinity”?
Is there a mental illness were one may have episodes of fear and anxiety pertaining to the concept of “infinity”? I am 16 and I have had maybe.. 4-8 episodes in my life where I have torturous dreams were my mind races trying to grasp the concept of infinity and it is soo scary!!
One time I had just got pretty drunk, but its happened before- when I was younger.
Could this possibly be a sign or symptom of a mental illness of any sort? I have had a troubling childhood to date with the death of my father a few years ago, my mother’s alcoholism (and my nursng of her during such times), being removed from my home and living in many different places- family and foster care, missing my dad despite his own, more mild alcoholism, and the constant putdowns of my mom’s relapsing, and my refraining from making friends out of fear of leaving them soon. (idk if ne of that matters)
Anywho, whats the dealio wif me? Is it just craszy dreams or wat?

It is not an illness because it is not interfering with every day life.
If it is hindering your normal activities because you cannot forget about infinity, I would say Obsessive Compulsie Disorder.
But remember… it is only a disorder if you can’t funtion normally because of infinity.
