Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission- Online certification

TABC, or the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, offers a standardized certification process for businesses and employees of businesses that serve or sell alcohol. This TABC certification course is not required in the state of Texas, but it is offered to anyone who wants to take it. Many employers will require the course even when the state doesn’t just because it allows them to present themselves as a more reputable and credible business, which is what everyone wants, really. Even in situations where you aren’t required to get this certificate, it might prove to help your career out by making you a better candidate for jobs than someone without the certification.

Choosing whether or not to get your TABC certification is going to be completely up to you. If you are a business owner, this certificate can give your business more credibility and help you to show that you are responsible in your alcohol service. If you are an employee, it can make you more hirable when it isn’t already required by an employer.
