The thing is, there aren’t really any other definitions to use at this time, except for terms like “high” bottom alcoholic and “functioning” alcoholic. The answer is taking away the shame and stigma associated with addiction by getting the word out there that it’s not a weakness. Being an alcoholic turned out to be one of the best things to happen to me in my life and I want to make people understand that there should never be any shame when it comes to alcoholism and addiction.
