I have about one year left of undergrad…then I want to go to grad school to be a therapist.
I experienced “attack therapy” and it has inspired me to be a therapist and treat my patients with dignity and respect…not how I was treated. I was screamed at by my rehab counselor (I was court mandated to rehab after two underage drinking convictions). I was called a -b word- and yelled at for not admitting I was an alcoholic. Also, the counselor used profanity constantly…It made me feel like he had so little respect for me that he couldn’t use clean language.
Anyways, what could I do with an MSW?
