I have been seeing this lady on and off for five years.She says she
loves me. I enjoy being with her, but she shows little affection.I
went through a lot of child abuse from a violent alcoholic father and insane mother who would tell me “when you grow up no woman will ever want you”.I thought most women liked to be held alot. A five second hug and two second kiss if I’M lucky, but she says she loves me.She says she will try to do better, and last week I told her goodby.I feel after five years and no change seen.
You think I did the right thing? any advice? “I CAN HEAR YOUR DISTANCE TRUMPET, CALLING FROM THE MORNING MOUNTAIN, SINGING TO THE PASSING RIVER,TAKE ME HOME, SHOW ME PEACEFUL DAYS BEFORE MY YOUTH HAS GONE”
