TOUGH action is needed to tackle Inverclyde's serious alcohol abuse problem, an MSP has warned. West of Scotland MSP Stuart McMillan was commenting following news, revealed by the Telegraph, that Inverclyde Council is left to pick up a £35 million bill each year from the damage caused by alcohol.
