in my soul opinion anyone who is ttc should wait to test for pg regardless of the ” symptoms” you think you might be having that lead you to believe you might be pg prompting the urge to test right away, on the day or up to a week past the day your were supposed to get your period. not any sooner because this leads to depression and the feeling of failure causing un needed stress. so ladies who are ttc have patients and good luck, if it is meant to be it will happen.
some women tend to get to excited to early but other might get the result they want early it all depends on your body and your hormones.
I am ttc as well and I know what it feels like to get bfn month after month, so that is why I say wait unitl you are to get your period before you test.

I might agree somewhat with your theroy, except that with all three of my children I tested at least a week before my period and got my positives right away.
