GeoTwitts – Post your GPS location to Twitter. Find friends, stay connected.

Escargot Studios, LLC~~GeoTwitts posts your GPS location to Twitter. It also reads your friends/contacts’ GPS Twitts and let’s you see how far you are from your friends/contacts. In addition, GeoTwitts can display your path consisting of recently posted GPS locations on Google Maps. You can use GeoTwitts to get directions to your friend (who is anxiously waiting for you for the last 30 minutes and you’ve not been able to find her/him until you powered up GeoTwitts on your iPhone ?).Still wondering why on Earth you would want to use GeoTwitts? Consider this, for example:Your friends are waiting for you in a restaurant and you are lost in the city. Ask them to Twitt their location, and GeoTwitts will show you the shortest way to get to your friends.Have you parked somewhere on the street but didn’t have time to look at the street signs and memorize where you are? No stress – just press a button, Twitt your location right before exiting your car and you won’t have troubles finding it anymore! You are on a business trip and want your family know where you are at the moment. Just press a button, Twitt your location, and you family will see where you are! It’s that simple. (Don’t post your location though if you don’t want anyone know where you are! If you are on a spy mission, for example ?)Have you ever saw this really cool restaurant or nightclub while driving somewhere but didn’t have a pen to right down the street address…No problem! Just Twitt you location with the simple press of a button – and you’ll easily get to the place of interest the next time (plus you’ll remember what you’ve just saw and now have a chance to explore next time!)You’ve been Twitting your location information with comments last week and would like to see what you’ve explored during that week – use GeoTwitts to show you your path with comments and date/time stamps. You know that your friends are in the area and would like to get in touch with them. Use GeoTwitts to show the map with your friends around you. It will also tell you who is the closest to you and how far everybody else is (assuming your friends are also Twitting their locations, of course).Have you ever wondered while traveling in another city or even country that it would be cool to have a short summary of your trip that you can use for the picture album, diary or just to remember every single hour of that fabulous vacation? Just Twitt your location, add a short description of the places you visited – and here it is! You can now have it in your notes, and you can even replicate your trip next year or may be 20 years later.Your kids are away on a trip and you would like to know where they are. Ask them to Twitt their location from time to time, and GeoTwitts will show you where they are at the moment.P.S. If you want to try adding test contacts who have GeoTwitts already posted to Twitter, you can add these two Twitter usernames to your GeoTwitts Contacts list (note the underscore at the end in both cases):angelina_hoyer_robert_heinz_P.P.S.
