NJN Coverage of NCADD-NJ’s Recovery Voices Count Campaign

New Jersey Network covered the press launch of the NCADD-New Jersey Recovery Voices Count Campaign on September 25, 2008 Transcript: New Jersey is one of a hand full of states selected for the National Recovery Voices Count Initiative. The project was officially launched at the state house today as part of an effort to register voters who are in recovery from addiction or who have a family member in recovery. The effort also seeks to educate the public as well as lawmakers about addiction issues. Candice [NCADD-NJ] This is a very exciting time for the recovery community as it becomes clear to the public and candidates that the countrys next leader must be prepared to address this public health crisis. The goal here in New Jersey is to register 1000 new voters.
