Sallies Streetreach – Gaylene Harvey Inteview
TX 15 Apr 2010~Theres a street outreach in Christchurch, run by the Salvation Army, which does most of its work late at night. The team hands out hot food and drink, along with comfort and conversation, to people either living or working on the street. Co-ordination for the outreach is Gaylene Harvey, who knows what it’s like to be on the fringe of society. Gaylene thanks God for bringing her out of her past life of alcohol abuse and giving her a compassionate heart for people who are still on the street .. and she shared her story with Annette Lee.
