Question by Aonghas Declared Me Immature: Alcoholism has a genetic component. So why do many assume that because something is “natural” it is good/right?
So why should it matter to anyone whether or not some behavior or trait or choice is present at birth? After all, the Bible claims that all humans are born with “original sin” and are therefore prone to choose sin. So why should the fact that something may be “natural” or “in-born” impact the moral aspect of some act?
