Q&A: Being Crazy…?

Question by CaLiBoRn&rAiSeD: Being Crazy…?
A lot of my friends, and my boyfriend call me crazy… I dont think i am but my b/f & best friend (who dont even like eachother & never have) have said crazy people dont usually realize it& ive heard that. People say it to eachother sometimes joking but i have mental illness throughout my family so maybe i just take it more serious because it is something that im afraid of… Im 19 and ive taken ntideppressants since i was 14. All in1 year i lost my virginity to sexual assualt,my parents started their divorce-when they found (i didnt tell them) they got in a huge fight- screaming and yelling@ eachother and me. I switched to an alternative school where the security guard was sort of a “mentor” to me. i ended up babysitting for him- @ his house- where he took advantage of me By this time I was doing drugs, getting in fights& ditching. I switched back to a normal school2yrs later but never graduated. Igot a DUI& was considered an “alcoholic”@ 18. So much more to say-no more room
I just found out how to add more- I have been to therapy and to whoever said antideppressants dont work- thats completely UNTRUE. I took a few different kinds untill i found one that works just right for me- without it im a totally different person…. But whatever- whatever happens, happens and theres nothing anyone can do about it.

I don’t think you are crazy, people are just uneducated about a lot of things in life. It sounds like you had a terrible start, but this can change with an acknowledgment to yourself first and then to others. The past is hard to get over, it’s hard for people to trust again. But it does get better. You have to be in control. If you can’t and need help then get that help. Find a GOOD role model. A good therapist. You can get a GED and clear up your past. It just takes time.
