Any boxing Bio(s) you plan on reading in the near future.
Mine are – “Battling Siki:A Tale of Ring Fixes, Race, and Murder in the 1920’s” (Delves into race, colonialism and the scandal’s of his life, career)
“A Bloody Canvas-The Mike McTigue Story” (The rise and fall of McTigue. Journey through Irish civil war, Jazz age, the crash, Great Depression, to dementia and alcoholism.)
“The Irish Champion Peter Maher” (Mixing with everyone from Teddy Roosevelt, William McKinley to Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson and Judge Roy Bean, charts his rise and fall)
“Joe Gans:A Bio. of the African American World Boxing Champion” (His reign during the Jim Crow era, physical assaults, stolen title, bankruptcy, controversial fights and fight reports)
“Sam Langford:Boxing’s Greatest Uncrowned Champion” (Chronicle of his life in and out of the ring)
“The Fearless Harry Greb:Bio.of a Tragic Hero of Boxing” (Very in depth account with complete fight record and round-by-round descriptions of his famous fights)
There are a few others as well. Maybe some boxing fans will find these sound interesting to them also. Please recommend Bio’s. you have enjoyed. Thanks

I’ve read the last two and would recommend them, especially the Greb one. Another good Boxing biography if you haven’t already read it is “Hands of stone” about Roberto Duran.
