Okay, Is There REALLY a Difference in a Drunk and an Alcoholic?
Question by La Cicada: Okay, is there REALLY a difference in a drunk and an alcoholic?
When an alcoholic drinks he can get sloppy drunk. A drunk ‘acts’ like he has to have a drink to go on with the day till he gets sloppy drunk. I don’t see the difference.
I’m making those two distinctions because other people try to ‘correct’ me on that. To me they are the same.
My father drank everyday after work and came home drunk. Didn’t drink on Sundays. He said he WASN”T an alcholic. But the last 15 years of his life attended AAA.
