Quinn Reveals Struggles With Alcoholism, Bulimia WNYC (blog) City Council Speaker and mayoral candidate Christine Quinn says she has struggled with bulimia and alcoholism. In an interview with the New York Times, Quinn says she developed the addiction while she was tending to her dying mother as a teen.
