Can You Get HPV by Performing Oral Sex on Someone Who Has It?
Question by – Ryan – myspace/RyanReed: Can you get HPV by performing oral sex on someone who has it?
I wanted to know if HPV is spread only by genital to genital contact, or by other means- specifically oral sex.
I’m looking for a cut and dry answer please.
So a girl can get genital warts/bumps from HPV if she preforms oral sex?
Once you are exposed to HPV, is your entire body effected, or is it localized to only the exposed areas?
Do the warts/bumps only appear in the genital area?

Theoretically, yes. But HPV generally only shows up on a woman’s cervix. It CAN show up on a man, but it’s unlikely that a man will ever exhibit any symptoms.
