From the new release RISE UP by Scottie Miller Band. (2012) “Bring Back Joe”. A song written with a sense of mourning, yet yearning for joy once felt. Dedicated to Joe. A friend who took his own life, while battling alcoholism, addiction and depression. Intended to celebrate the good times, without ignoring the challenges so many of us can relate to.
