Alcohol Abuse Advice

Question by Lady Morgana: Have you, as an “alcoholic” tried Rational Recovery and AA? Do you have an opinion on the effectiveness of ..?

I had an alcohol problem some years ago and went to AA meetings. They did nothing for me and I found medication and talking through the resons I did drink helped me. As you say, different things work for different people and that was only my opinion.
