Miss Martian vs the Blob
So I decided to create one last character (which required erasing one that most of you never saw), and I asked myself who should I include? Well, you can never have too many superheroines with gigantic cleavage. Or too many redheads. Or too many alien girls from destroyed civilizations. Or too many teenage girls with superstrength wearing a mini skirt. Or too many shapely green women who randomly morph into god-awfully ugly white martians. Well, I could do away with the last part, but the rest is my definition of heaven, and that’s how the goody-two-shoes (and occasionally psychotic white martian) Miss Martian came to be a part of the Superheroine Wrestling League. After I finished designing Miss Martian I realized several things. 1) there’s a whole lot of superheroines with the initials MM 2) In DC Comics, women whose primary superpower is superstrength are a dime a dozen, while in Marvel Comics they are as rare as a superhero who isn’t a recovering alcoholic. 3) I really, really wish Smackdown vs Raw had capes; too many of my ladies just don’t look “right” without them. 4) I have no idea what Miss Martian’s back looks like or whether she’s still alive in the comics (I know the other martian bit the dust). And by the way, for those of you who have computers fast enough to run pcsx2 and who happen to own Smackdown vs Raw 2008 for the PS2, I have good news: I finally ported my hacked version of pcsx2 to windows, and I’m going to put it on the web along with all my …
