Q&A: I Have the Symptoms on an Oncoming Heart Attack Semi-Regularly Apparently.?

Question by Illogicology: I have the symptoms on an oncoming heart attack semi-regularly apparently.?
I was looking at these “signs you might be having a heart attack”

“Chest discomfort. Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.

Discomfort in other areas of the upper body. Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.

Shortness of breath with or without chest discomfort.

Other signs may include breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness”

I get chest pains occasionally, I’m hardly the healthiest person in the world. These are also occasionally accompanied by pains in the arms… I’ve yet to have a heart attack though. Just how worried should I be?

You should be VERY worried. It sounds like you may have a condition called “unstable angina.” At the very least, there is a suggestion that you have coronary artery disease and chronic stable angina. You need a thorough evaluation by a physician.
