Susan Berlin is a psychotherapist, who practices her services in Washington DC. She is an out-of-the-box thinker. Her approach to treatment is based in science and expressed through creativity. While establishing her practice, Susan designed and helped implement a dual-focused intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program for Mediplex/United Hospital in New Rochelle, NY. With a desire to grow personally and professionally, she decided to relocate her practice to Georgetown in Washington, DC, where now she counsels individuals, couples and groups varying in age from 17 to adult.

Well respected in her field, Susan Berlin has specialized training in working with people struggling with or recovering from Alcohol use, abuse, dependence and addiction. In July 2009 Susan was chosen as one of “Washington’s Best Therapists” for substance abuse and addiction therapy in the Washingtonian Magazine.
