So, a few days ago at school we had free time. So, two girl were playing “favorites” (Which I find childish, especially since they’re like 16 years old). So basically one person will say something like “celebrity” than the other person will say their favorite celebrity (Or favorite ice cream, song, clothing line, etc.) And one of the girls said “drinks” (non-alcoholic). Then it kind of went like this:
Girl 1-Pepsi. You?
Girl 2-Red Kool-Aid. (Note-They’re both white.)
Teacher-**Looks up** Why in the world would that be your favorite drink? (Note-She’s white.)
Me-I know right. It doesn’t taste that amazing. (Note-I’m black.)
Teacher-No, it’s not that. The only people that drink red kool-aid are….
Then she stopped. Even though the majority of her class is white, there were still two black students in the room. So she knew that she should stop. Then I was like:
Me-**Quickly turns around to stare at teacher** Black.
Teacher-What?
Me-The only people that drink it are black.
Teacher-Don’t put words in my mouth.
Me-How would I put words in your mouth if that’s what you meant to say?
Teacher-**Blushes** Sit do…
**Bell rings**
Or there was this other time when I was in a car with my friend and her mom (Note-They make a generous amount of money). We were about to pick up our other friend. She lives in the projects. When she was walking out the door her brother ran up to her because she forgot her purse. He had a glass with something red in it. My friends mother was like “That’s probably kool-aid.” Or when we had a sleep-over, we were watching a movie. They, coincedently, lived in the projects. This lady asked her son for something to drink so he went to the fridge and got something, it was red. Again, her mom said. “That’s probably kool-aid.” Or when I was at starbucks, there were a bunch of girls that came in and asked for a cup of ice, one of them used it to put it in a drink because it was too warm, it was red. The lady in front of me was like “There’s probably crack in that kool-aid.”
Wtf?! Why do people have to be so stereotypical over freaking kool-aid?!
@Omni Chaotic Way to have a stupid answer. First off, I AM Ethiopian. And dopest basically means “the best.” Yeah, I may be conceited, but that was NOT stereotypical. I’ve been to Ethiopia 5 times, so I know it’s not some hunger invested country. You should make sure you know what you’re talking about before you speak.
