Alcohol recovery typically involved two steps and both are equally important when it comes to alcohol rehab. There is both a physical component to alcohol addiction as well as a psychological component involved. Someone who is addicted to alcohol has a dependency that is physical on the alcohol as the body gets used to alcohol in the system. Withdrawal can take place in alcohol recovery and make someone feel better physically after they get the alcohol out of their system at alcohol rehab.
There is also a psychological component involved in the alcohol addiction as well. After the physical component is removed and the person is no longer physically dependent upon the alcohol, they still have the psychological dependency factor to contend with. Alcohol rehab concentrates on giving the person the tools that they need to both get rid of the alcohol dependency in their physical state as well as their emotional state.
